Group SKIDROW released 2 small games during this slow night and here’s the 1st of them: a funny adventure Jack Keane from German developer Deck 13. This is basically a conversion of old good LucasArts titles like Broken Sword or Monkey Island into the modern world, but it can’t be compared with the old masterpieces in terms of gameplay. Anyway, if u like point and click adventures, this can be worth transfering to kill few hours.

Jack Keane is presented in an enthralling atmosphere with masses of well-elaborated characters, plenty of cinematic cut scenes with many funny allusions to famous films, video & computer games. Jack Keane is completely designed in 3-D & still maintains a classic adventure atmosphere.

The story starts in London, where Jack is chased by professional thugs. While escaping, he gets assigned by the queen to go the island of the evil “Doctor T.”. On the way to the island, Jack meets his dream girl Armanda & together they slowly discover the plans of the evil “Doctor” and his carnivorous plants. Will they manage to cross his plans & finally save the world?
