Now normally I wouldn’t write a full post for a LiMiTED movie but this 1 is a rare exception. Apparently, this release is almost a month old but I only just got hold of it. Personally, I really like DOCU stuff because they actually teach you something and provide a substantial insight into what’s happening outside your window aka in the world. This Litvinenko sc&al caused a lot of controversy between Great Britain and Russia and continues to strain the already tense relations…

This fascinating documentary charts the events leading up the death of ex-spy Alexander Litvinenko from radiation poisoning in November 2006. Two years prior to his death, Litvinenko had publicly spoken out, accusing his former superiors at the FSB of the assassination of Russian tycoon Boris Berezovsky. Whilst living in forced exile in Britain Litvinenko continued his claims against the Russian government, up until he fell ill and became a rare victim of lethal polonium-210 poisoning under highly suspicious circumstances. With no 1 brought to trial over Litvinenko’s death and the Russian government refusing to extradite the prime suspect, this ongoing case is one of the most shocking, explosive and portentous in modern history.
